RESCUE

Survival & Bronze Strands

These higher stages focus on rescue skills, along with stroke progression and endurance.

Each stage prepares swimmer to make an informed decision in an emergency, and use their skills if they feel comfortable.

Along with teaching rescue skills and techniques, swimmers also develop their endurance, as each stage has a long distance swim.

Upon completion of stage 15, swimmers can progress to the Bronze Medallion (providing they are 14 years of age), which is a pre-requisite for the lifeguard course.
