We have a range of classes available for every age, ability, interest, and fitness level.

Our Squad program is fantastic for those wanting to set and achieve personal goals (such as distance, open water swims or time trials), those wanting to get fit, and for those wanting to enter into competitive (or non-competitive) swimming meets under our club. We fundamentally believe that every swimmer is individual, and our programming and instruction is tailored to meet these individual needs. Each swimmer must have passed Stage 7 (assessment available), and we recommend a minimum of 2 sessions a week. Our squad lanes are divided up into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, allowing swimmers to be challenged within their current ability level.

Triathlons and open water swim races are becoming increasingly popular in Perth, and we are proud to offer training for the swimming component of triathlons – preparing participants for the various conditions of open water. Blocks are paid in 5 weeks, with 3 sessions per week.

These sessions are aimed at enhancing long-distance endurance, as opposed to short-distance sprints. Programs are designed to improve your swim mechanics, and are packed full of drills to perfect your technique.

Our holiday intensive programs are available through our mobile swimming service, and also in our facilities. Each program is in 5-day blocks, on consecutive weekdays. See each location for pricing and more information.

Suitable for ages 3 months – 3.5 years, this RLSSWA program encourages gentle progression in line with children’s developmental stages. Building trust between parent, teacher and child. Each young swimmer will learn to love the water, and progress through each skill at their own comfortable pace. This program focuses on water familiarisation, exploration, and water safety skills. The use of play during each lesson is important in learning and skill development; singing is guaranteed!

Suitable for ages 3y – 4y11m, our Beginner program is ideal for the timid swimmer, who may sturggle in larger groups without a parent in the water. These groups have a maximum of 4 swimmers, and focus on the fundamentals of swimming, – particularly being comfortable in the water. Once the swimmer is assessed as having successfully completed the beginner program, they will move onto either Stage 1 or 2, regardless of age.

Swim and Survive is a program by RLSSA for swimmers over the age of 3.5 years. The initial stages focus on buoyancy, streamline and propulsion. The later stages focus on water safety, survival, and rescue, all whilst developing a strong and effective swimming technique.

There are various development strands, and each is taught through trust, repetition and demonstration. Each swimmer will confidently complete each skill before progressing on to the next stage.

We run many RLSSA Bronze Awards, such as Bronze Medallion, Bronze Star, and Bronze Cross. These are an alternative to enrolling in a RLSSA course, and are run over 8-10 weeks with us. This gives participants more time to achieve each skill and pass each assessment with additional support and practise.

Bronze Star is Stage 15 in the program, Bronze Medallion is Stage 16 (and is a requirement for those wanting to pursue their Pool Lifeguard and Swim Teaching course in WA), and Bronze Cross is Stage 17.

Bronze Medallion can be completed by participants 14 years (or, in the year they turn 14) and over.

The JLGC is a fun program by RLSSA, but it has a serious purpose. It is ideal for those who love the water, and want to be challenged outside of their usual lessons. Participants learn the skills required for pool lifesaving and strive to improve personal best achievements. There are competition events for those interested in competing, where participants demonstrate their rescue skills and lifesaving knowledge.

Aqua Aerobics is ideal for those seeking out low-impact exercise, suitable for pregnancy, weight loss, injury management, general fitness, or just to participate in a fun, social activity! All fitness levels are accommodated, and participants experience both cardiovascular exercise, and strength training. Added benefits include increased flexibility, reduced joint pain, and high calorie burn. Our enthusiastic trainer will tailor exercises for beginners, and those wanting to be challenged.

Private lessons are a great way for swimmers to receive dedicated individual attention to correct technique, and are a great alternative for those who respond better to low ratio classes. Private lessons cater to those who struggle with the distraction of other group members. We also recommend these lessons to accommodate for swimmers with special needs.

It’s never too late to learn how to swim! Whether you are a beginner, or if you can already swim laps, adult lessons are for you! We can help you beat your fears, or train for that upcoming open water swim.

As part of the Royal Lifesaving WA program (and pending financial approval), we offer a women’s only program for those who are culturally and linguistically diverse. These lessons are great for those wanting support from other women who are striving towards the same goals – learning how to be safe in and around water.
